The thing I love about this time of year is how comfortably warm it is outside. I am so much more active and I get out of the house more, up until dreary winter hits again. It's very refreshing to take a walk outside when the sun is shining, and the wind is blowing just right. PERFECT.
On Friday, I went to the mall with a friend and he bought me a pair of rollerblades which was awesome of him. We then went to one of the parks in the area and rollerbladed for close to an hour. My butt was definetally kicked. After a very cold shower, we both got back together for a late showing of "17 Again" which was surprisingly a good movie worth checking out.
Saturday was more of a chill day. I went grocery shopping and bought some quick necessities, and went for an hour walk early in the afternoon. Not surprisingly, I went out rollerblading again at another local park for about a half hour, and then walked the trails for another half hour. I treated my friend out to some Subway since we were both starving at this point, and why waste all that working out on some Burger King?
I found a really good website worth checking out: Files Tube which is like a rip of You Tube but you can find any sort of music file, video file, etc. When you find what you want, it then links you to another website which has the download link (fileshare, mediafire, etc.) One of the albums I've been dying for lately is Frou Frou's debut album "Details." I first heard the song, "Let Go" on the movie "The Holiday" that came out a few years ago. I didn't find out who the artist was to that song until one of my friends added it to their Myspace profile. Ironically enough, the singer is Imogen Heap, which I am a fan of her music. I was able to download the album, and I am totally in love with it.
Just a friendly reminder that Spring is here
